The Loss of Seth
Had to share this special photo from years and years ago in the Adirondack Mountains in honor of my cousin Seth and my Aunt Ree, both of whom are no longer with us. The loss of both hurts my heart. We just lost Seth today due to a tragic road accident. Seth had a severe concussion and went to bed "not feeling well." He died that evening. I cherish this memory. July Fourth 2016: EVERYONE CAME! :-D
It was such a fun July 4th this year with the entire Thompson family attending! The girls were so excited to have Zachary enjoy going into the lake water for the first time, really, by playing on the ramp with him! Everyone was so happy! We all took boat rides together and had lots of meat and other things to eat. One night, we took the boat out to see the lake fireworks and, although we were bothered by mosquitoes, we were able to get fairly close! On the actual 4th of July, the tradition was a little bit different because the high school was redoing their stadium. The girls stood out the sunroof of the car while we watched the fireworks from a parking lot. It was still very fun! It was a wonderful holiday with family!

Annie, An Only Child for a Week ... & Deodorant?!?
I have never seen Annie happier than when Leia was at camp, not because Annie dislikes her sister, but because it's the only extended time in a sibling's life when she can receive full attention ... hence the bunny cake and the Angelina playdate! As for the deodorant, this morning Annie grabbed me and softly said, "Mamma, I think I might need deodorant." It worried her, but I let her use mine and then she had a special trip to the store to pick her special one: Dove, Pomegranate. :-) (Unfortunately, this was followed by worry she might get her period soon.) :-(
