Annie got to sleep in with Daddy on her birthday so that Leia Rose and I could get up early and bring Peri out for a big adventure: to get blessed by Father Nick! The feast day of Saint Francis of Assisi being this weekend, it is a wonderful tradition to bring all the pets of the school children in to be blessed. There was no one more excited about this than Leia Rose, . . . especially when Mamma was willing to cut little viewing windows in Peri's take-home box. Leia was able to carry Peri around and show him to everyone, . . . even open the box for her friends to pet him (except when Cael's hunting dogs approached). Has there ever been a more holy bunny? : )My sweet babies have grown into beautiful women! This is their story (& mine as well). My blog exists in honor of the late Karin Faulkner who taught me how. Enjoy the journey through Leia's & Annie's youth.
