Leia's Day at Mountain Sun?!?
Leia had been waiting for this day for a LONG time, … she so misses Montessori School! Therefore, we asked if she could spend a day with Annie at Mountain Sun. She got to do all of the works there and enjoyed every minute, … Annie even got to show her the favorite “Mummichog” fish and the baby ducks! Leia loved wearing the Japanese “Gita” shoes the most, I think. It reminded her of her preschool friend, Yukino! MY favorite thing was seeing Leia’s “Mounten Sun” drawing both laminated and hung up in the room for the rest of the year!

A Day at Annie's Mountain Sun
It was SO fun to visit Mountain Sun Community School with Annie today. She got to show us her special birdie art project, which still graces our table centerpiece during summer as well as one of the “works” where she meticulously removes corn kernels. BUT one of her favorite works is “research” where she copies facts about animals into a special book. There was one kind of fish that we couldn’t figure out what it was, but it was her favorite, the “mummichog” fish! Annie also was happy to show us the new baby ducks, still in the incubator!
