Owl Pellet = Rat Skeleton: Coolest Science Project EVER!

In science class this year, the kids each received a supposedly purified owl pellet (what the owl spits up after having devoured an animal),  and had to dissect it in order to remove have a rat skeleton. Then they had to put the rat skelton back together. Leia is very proud of the result!

Easter Bonnet Contest 2016: The Parade of Hats

She didn't win, but we were super-proud anyway. This  Was the first year that neither Leia nor Annie wanted to stay for the egg hunt. :-(

Easter Bonnet (& Centerpiece) Making 2016

Leia felt that she was a little bit too old to make an Easter bonnet this year, so instead she decided to make a lighted Easter centerpiece. It has been adorning our table ever since.
