Not Just First Honors : High As !
Annie has always held herself to the highest of standards where grades are concerned! More so than I did and more so than Leia. If she doesn't get a high A in any class, she is disappointed in herself. Anything 95 and above is acceptable to her. We keep reminding her that 90 and above is still considered an A, but despite our reminders, Annie still holds herself to this very high standard, and we are so proud of her! Her goal by the end of eigth grade would eventually be to go to an ivy league college!
Annie & Luma at Jump Off Rock
... and the beginning of the Mamma-dont-take-a-picture-of-me Stage. That would last until the late teen years.

Saving the Baby Wild Bunnies
Someone from Daddy's work was concerned about the wild baby bunnies he found without their mother in his yard. Instead of calling animal control, we said we could take care of them! We ran right out to the pet store and bought a newborn cat baby bottle and kitten milk and began feeding the babies! Leia is always a natural at this type of nurturing and jumps right in. Annie cares about animals SO much,, thats she's afraid of breaking them at first and has to warm up to their care, but it doesn't take her long! We put them in a cage outside because that is where they were used to being. We were really enjoying loving on them for a couple of days! But they were so small, they eventually escaped out of the bars of the cage and went on their own. One of these wild bunnies eventually became Chiplet! We always knew Chiplet because Chiplet was always hopping for a long time in front of our car while driving instead of hopping to the edge of the road (like our original bunny, Chip, and ANY other bunny).

Cherry Tree in Bloom & Leia in Love
And sometimes, in the transition from day into night, it looks like it's glowing:
And Leia is glowing, too! ...Wednesday, March 20, 2019
A School Art Project by Annie
Annie was SO proud of this art project where she had to create a room in perspective with all sorts of other details. Annie ornamented her room with cats (which turned out to be the first sign she was "switching" from cats to bunnies).
