Friend Trip to Edisto 2020 : The Miracle
The depth of this miracle still takes my breath away. Shana and I were sitting next to each other on the beach with our airpods in listening to our Edisto playlist. There were 3 songs in order that Michael Franti just came out with. The 1st song we heard was "Little Things," talking about the importance of the smallest things in life. During this song, I noticed some strange white rays coming up from the horizon. I had never seen a phenomenon like this before, so I took a couple of pictures and I asked if Shana could see it as well. It was really strange, kind of like a white sun was coming up from the horizon in the middle of the day. As the 2nd song came on, "Just to say I love you," a beautiful and vibrant rainbow appeared right above the white rays. I immediately knew that it was God's message to us: a message of love. It was somehow connected to what Shana and I are supposed to do in the world. Share God's love with others in all ways that we can. I was so in awe of this message that I cried. In regards to how we were to share this message, that was found in the next song, "Flower in the Gun." "We can be the healing when you're feeling all alone, we can be the reason to find the chance to carry on. When the world is so divided, we shall overcome. We can be the healing. We can be the flower in the gun." We will heed your sign, dear Jesus! We will be that flower in the gun!
The phenomenon of the white rays at first. (These pictures IN NO WAY does the phenomenon or the miracle justice!)
The phenomenon of the white rays continued.
The miraculous rainbow appears during the song "Just to Say I Love You."
Friend Trip to Edisto 2020 : The Year of the Indigo Bunting
... Called the year of the Indigo bunting because each day when we would come back from the beach there was a tree limb that always hosted an Indigo bunting every single day.
