Edisto Friend Trip 2021 : First Time at Mullet Point

Mullet Point is  Actually a Yurt! It is one of these eclectic places I've ever stayed. it has both a view of the golf course and the sunset! It is Named for the Mullet fish that jump out of the water from the canal which is the back yard.

Lots of wildlife frequent the golf course in the evenings. this is another deer nursing her fawn!

 Oleanders line the driveway and we decided to do a cast of our hands while at Edisto as well

 Sunsets along the sound are very beautiful! This year I finally found a brown Pelican feather. I have been looking for one for years, and you would think there they would be all over the place, but they are actually hard to find.

Thompson Family Edisto Trip 2021 : Sunrises, Year 10

For a decade, I have gone out to see EVERY SINGLE sunrise at Edisto Beach when we are here for this precious week. I figured this would be a good year to round out this tradition. A new tradition we have started, however, is for the family to join me at the sunrise for the last day. (This is often coupled with Brian pulling up the opening scene of The Lion King.)

 It is not Edisto without the game Overcooked.

This year,... YEAR 10, by the way, ...  The air conditioner broke. So they brought a portable one in which was not enough to really cool down the house. Luckily, dad got a really good discount As a result.

 Another fun thing this year was daring to try Habanero lime potato chips!

 Very often, as the family watches James bond at night, I go out on to the back porch and watch the sunset.

 As always, Father's Day is at Edisto Beach, and this year we got daddy a special gift.
