This year it was a concert over 2 nights! As always, Michael Franti walked through the crowd many times and we got very close. And Shana danced to her heart's content.

Edisto Family Trip 2024 : New Tradition of Leaving via Charleston
This year we started a new tradition of heading home via Charleston. First the plan was to go to pliah bowles which we did. Because this is truly a coastal chain we made the effort to go there. Then it turns out there was a Charleston farmer's market just a block away so we went and both Annie and harvest enjoyed stocking up on spices! It seems that this farmer's market happens every Saturday during the summer so we will definitely do this again. Then finally, something we started last year, red crab juicy seafood!
Edisto Family Trip 2024 : Botany Bay Road
It is a tradition every year to go along botany Bay road and drive with the sun roof open if possible. This year Annie drove so I could look out of the sunroof!
Edisto Family Trip 2024 : Turtle Tracks
Here is an exciting first time experience! Late last night a loggerhead turtle must have come on shore to lay her eggs. You can see the path up to her nest. You can see the small flag that a turtle patrol person marked the nest with. In the final picture you can see the track of the turtle back to the ocean..
