THIS is my favorite part of parties at the lake: everyone helping to chop veggies and cook burgers, too many people in the kitchen, everyone laughing and enjoying each other.

Pottery : Annie's Newest Art Endeavor

 A few weeks ago Annie expressed some interest in finding an open studio for pottery, and I already knew about the transylvania arts council pottery studio, so we headed there and met the pottery studio manager!  Annie and Alia hit it off right away and Annie immediately started volunteering and making pottery all summer. I am so impressed with her new found skills without any training! For some reason, Annie was worried I would not let her do this, but my comment was that a good mamma always pays for summer activities!
