Annie Says Butterfly! ("Ka-Kai")

Today Annie was just sitting there playing with her little butterfly teether, and I did what I always do with things: "Annie, is that a butterfly? Can you say butterfly? Butterfly! . . . Butterfly!" And suddenly she said, "Ka-Kai"! I got her to say it about three times, and that was her usual inflection, although other times she said, "Ah-Ai" and even "Ka-Ka-Kai." What a little love, . . . trying so hard! : )
