Airplane Cafe

Then we all had a wonderful lunch at this new little Crosswinds Cafe in an unknown terminal at the RDU airport. It had a WALL of windows and the kids had a BALL watching the planes. Karin even had a GREAT idea that it would be a perfect place for a kids birthday party! : ) Ah, yet another fun place that we'll never be able to go to again . . .

And then I had the biggest laugh I had in months when we came in from the observation area, and Leia noticed the sculptures in the center of the terminal. She yelled, "Oh no! I NEED TO GO TOUCH THAT METAL THING!" Ha! So I let her, while I was doubled over in laughter. (Perhaps you had to be there?) : )
