Another fabulous 4th! This year we brought some special "Smoke Balls" especially for Cousin Zachary to enjoy during the day (because he would be sleeping at night for the biguns). We also had a visit from Uncle Joe and Aunt Patsy who always bring something fun for the girls. This year it was a year's worth of McDonalds happy meal toys! The girls LOVED it! We had one fun evening of lighting fireworks off the boat ramp and off the dock. This year we added shooting real firework shells! Yet another evening was watching the fireworks from the lake and the Newberry fireworks in town. I was amazed at Annie's excitement even at the lake fireworks (which are always really far away). It was a full half-hour of: "I see one!" "There's one!" "There's another one!!!" Such special moments to remember! Then, of course there was lots of swimming and ... Brian insisted that I include the political sentiments from around Lake Murray as well. Ha!
