It was an exciting day with Mama as the chaperone! The 5th graders did everything from learning how to make lace, how to archive documents and paint , how to quilt, how to make butter in an old fashioned butter churn, how to wash clothes without a washing machine, how to use a spinning wheel, how to make corn meal (Leia got to keep the corn cob!) , and Leia and Jackson even got a chance to experience and 18th century tea time! And Mamma broke the rules (to the kids' delight) by visiting Krispy Kreme afterwards!
