I have heard it said that you should always be able to write the word "love" in the dust on the counters of your home. It is a testament to spending time and experiencing things with your children, instead of spending all of the time cleaning. I have always taken that to heart. There was a teacher at Sacred Heart, before I had children, that told me one of the best pieces of advice that I've ever heard. As she cried at her own mistake, she said, "Noelle, hire someone to clean your house, and play with your children!" Well, I don't have enough money to have someone clean my house, but I also don't mind it being a little bit dirty. These pictures are a testament to that idea. The girls have recently begun to climb the wall, ... literally. It makes me smile every time they do it! When they are at school, I love looking at their hand prints on the wall, and smiling. I also found Annie's handprint on the windshield of my car, where Annie had climbed out of the sunroof and come down. I had to take a picture of that as well!! I love my children! I'm so glad they're happy! And I'm so glad we allow them to have fun!
