Annie's Christmas Gift Finally Arrives

 Annie is a big fan of this particular artist online who makes prints. How little did I know that all of her Christmas stock would sell out fast! I wasn't able to get her a print for Christmas as a result, so I had her pick one and we waited until they came back in stock and they finally arrived!

Inspiring Others with Dementia in Using Leqembi

 Here is a former student of mind from Sacred Heart, Sarah. Sarah and I had a conversation online not too long ago about dementia and how my mom was diagnosed with Alzheimer's and was subsequently making lots of progress with the drug Leqembi. When Sarah found out her mom also had early stage Alzheimer's, we had a long conversation online about how quickly she should get her mom involved in the program. I had been waiting for a response when suddenly I got this picture showing Sarah's mom having her first infusion!

Annie's Newest Pottery Endeavor : Making Moths

 Annie was so very excited and proud of her moths!   She was so very careful transporting the clay and the bisqued pieces. And I felt so sad for her when the project didn't come out quite as she dreamed. I'm afraid all of the moths, or at least most of them, were destroyed in the kiln.  It was certainly a lesson in process and in letting go.
