Pet Transitioning : Bunnies to Kitties

Here is our Miku, avidly watching a bird at the bird feeder. It is one of her favorite activities. And on a sad note, we have been having trouble losing our bunnies to what we think is a congenital heart defect. First Luma and now Kumo, ... simply get weaker and weaker until they are gone. So very sad! We tried to make them as happy as possible with one of their favorite foods to eat: apples. Mario would out-live them all! But he is not of the same genetic line.

January Snow & Winter Walk

Such a beautiful snow today! And even though Annie didn't want any pictures taken, we did go on a Winter Walk reminiscent of one of our favorite winter children's books. "Red boot up, red boot down, through the glistening snow. Look! Tiny twig-like tracks! I wonder where they go?"

January 6, 2021 Trump Supporters Storm the Capital

 Today was a truly dark day in America's history. Trump supporters, reacting to Trump's loss, andespecially a group called the Proud Boys, numbering in the thousands, stormed the US capital. In my opinion, this was the very 1st time there was not a peaceful transfer of power from the very beginning of this country. Most of these pictures are from the Internet, but the 1st 2 after these words are from both my TV and Shana's TV.

Look at them breaking windows while overwhelmed law enforcement tries to defend themselves!

The guy in the middle is probably the most famous of the rioters. Get ready for JAIL!

So proud of Eric and his show where, as a contractor, he goes into old homes and renovates hidden spaces into useful spaces! The show is aptly named Amazing Space .  Eric is Oma's (Claire's) sister's (Ree's) son.

Two of my favorite funny pics of all time! Above is Niagara Falls when we visited Great Grandma Betty for her 90th birthday and, because I am all about "expriences," I decided to take the girls to see the Falls in a blizzard. :-D Annie was NOT having it! Leia is always a sport!
