I have never been a dog person, and I am still not; however, I can honestly say that Petey is the only dog that I have ever loved. Petey was such a wonderful companion to Shana. He was a big goofball, and always just wanted to be involved with anything we were doing. It was about a month ago that we noticed something was really wrong. He wasn't as active, and one time a few weeks ago when I walked him he actually fell. When they did a scan, they found cancer all over his body. It was time for him to go into the arms of Saint Francis. And if you scroll down, I was brave enough to take a picture of the way I looked when I found out he was gone.
