Mrs. Revuelta & Eddie Spaghetti

This was such a special evening in that we ALL got to go out to a fabulous new Italian restaurant with Jane (my very good friend who, long ago, was my Spanish teacher at Saint Thomas Aquinas). Jane still lives in Coral Springs, Florida; however, she was visiting her daughter in Nashville and decided to come on a mini vacation to the mountains of NC. It was wonderful to see Jane, Fernando, and their daughter Becky who is the proud Mamma of twins! Becky and I shared a lot in that both our first little girls had reflux, . . . but Katarina always smiled when Leia Rose would sing and play with her. (Not to mention that Eddie Spaghetti, the Italian restaurant was PHENOMENAL! Thanks Aunt Cassie for suggesting it!)

Meteor Shower Morning

Today the earth passed through the tail of Halley's Comet. Being the astronomy buff that I am, I made sure to come outside right before dawn with Leia Rose to see some meteors burn up in the atmosphere. Unfortunately, I saw only one really bright one right BEFORE I got Leia. Near the end, we finally saw one. But it was the togetherness in the coolness of the fall morning that made it the most special.

Perri Funnies

There are a few things little Perri Bunny does that really make us laugh! One is this silly position of relaxation with his legs thrust straight out behind him. The other is Perri's nighttime dose of Daddy Butter. (This happens so often that we made up a little rhyme to sing: "A Daddy Butter. A Daddy Butter. Gettin' my nighttime dose of Daddy Butter." LOL!) Um, but there are also things that do NOT make us laugh, like how Perri has learned to get behind our wardrobe even when we have heavy rocks in the way! Grrrrr.

Daddy-Work Day

There was no one more excited than Leia Rose when she heard she would accompany Daddy to PharmAgra Labs after a half-day of school today! (Leia had been asking about this for months, and today her wish came true!)
