Annie as Matilda
With both girls, in honor of finishing our first book by Roald Dahl: Matilda, we did a huge production based on the book and the movie. It was SO much fun to do with Annie! She was such a beautiful actress. And we did a large video to give as the end of the year gift to her two preschool teachers: Shana and Tina. Unlike our first version, starring Leia, that had Annie in a supporting roll at "The Trunchbull," this time Annie plays Matilda, herself, and Leia plays Amanda Thripp. It would end up being one of my favorite memories with both children. I especially love the scene where Annie/Matilda and I/MissHoney hula-hoop and roller skate inside. It is so wonderful trying to be a mamma just like that! I hope the girls remember all of our wonderful adventures together!!!
