Visiting Daisy at Mission

"I was naked, and you gave me clothing. I was sick, and you cared for me. I was in prison, and you visited me.’ Matthew 25:36

So, as hard as it was, I visited my coworker Daisy on hospice at Mission Hospital. She was unresponsive, and I had no way of knowing she would pass the next day from some kind of aggressive cancer. I stayed for a couple hours and just talked to her. I took this picture of the most beautiful view from her room and showed her. A few weeks later, I would attend her funeral as well.

The First Pickens Renaissance Faire

Shana got me a special present for my birthday: 2 tickets to the first Pickens Renaissance Faire! And at night there was fire dancing! So fun!

Annie & Mamma Share a Birthday

All Annie wanted for her birthday was a fancy cake from a real bakery. So I finally got one, kitty themed from McFarlands. It says, "Happy Birthday Annie & Mamma." The only mistake was it was HUGE because I asked it to feed 20 people, thinking they would make it on the smaller side. We went out to Mezzaluna in downtown Hendersonville. So delicious! 

 And look at my beautiful blue vase that Annie made for me on my birthday! I decided to put real roses in it until they were gone for the year and then I will fill it with dried roses, all messages from Saint Therese.
