Oh wow!!! What a beautifully illustrated poetic phrase. You know, I am planning an exhibition at my high school that's going to be called "art and the written word." And right now I'm in the middle of trying to get the students to make work like Leia's piece. I wish l could put Leia in the show. Did Annie do the abstract circles and squares, and the Popsicle quilt piece?!?! Such amazing textures. My nieces are so talented!
I think I might show Leia's piece to my drawing class tomorrow! I really love it! Maybe it will inspire my students. Some of them need a little inspiration.
