This is Annie and Mudkip, one of Annie's favorite Pokemon ... something I vowed never to let my kids get into. ;-) It turns out the game helps the kids practice math while the handbooks perfect dictionary skills (including phometics!) and collecting cards, figures, and plush compares to our "sticker collections" in fourth grade. I am slowly changing my tune, but was shocked to learn that Annie "limited herself" to requesting 15 plush for birthday AND 15 for Christmas. =-O Then the newest thing is a phone App called "Pokemon Go" where you "catch" Pokemon all over the world using a GPS system. This is a picture of us "catching" a Pokemon called "Raticate"... at Dollywood ... with Harvest.
