Shana just found these sweet pictures from when we took Shana & Harvest to Otter Creek in 2014. How sweet they are together! Harvest told Shana that he "liked" Leia for tqo years BEFORE he asked her out when she was 16. You can see it in his eyes here.

Leia's Birthday Back in Portland Oregon 2020

 For her birthday, I gave Leia a large gift certificate to the cheesecake factory. I'm so glad that her and harvest were able to use it all the way across the country! Happy 18th Birthday to my firstborn!

 Look at my beautiful daughter who just turned eighteen! What a blessing it was for her to come visit South Carolina in order to take a high-school test. (The exit exam, I think?) This allowed us to celebrate a bit together. I will NOT take this time for granted, ... as there are many tears these days with Leia away. Finding it hard to even look at baby pictures ...

Leia Pays a Special Visit 2020

 I can't tell you how much I grabbed onto this moment. With my daughter off in Portland Oregon and not really speaking to me, it was a pleasure to be invited over to South Carolina where Leia had to visit to take a particular high school test. Thank goodness she did! And this gave us a reason to take Annie over there with her new Kitty, miku. I just loved watching that moment of my 2 girls laughing together with the new cat. This experience of being separated truly made me never take time with my children for granted. Don't...waste...one...single...moment.
