The Hunley is our country's very first attack submarine that was used during the Civil War by the confederacy. Unfortunately, the submarine never returned with its 4 occupants who probably ran out of oxygen. Is the submarine has been found and is being restored. It currently resides in Charleston and we went to go see it this year!
