It was about time to say goodbye to Annie's sweet cat, Miku. Her kidney disease is finally taking its toll. She is thin and weak. Yes, she had a UTI that we cured with medication, but it didn't change her status. We gave her as many kitty soups as she wanted before the vet visit where she simply went to sleep. And we cried. We buried her in our Mary garden, and I bought a new Saint Francis statue, holding a kitty. I placed the statue directly over where Miku lay. We will miss this snuggly, sassy kitty with a mind of her own.
