The irony behind this field trip was that the kids are supposed to go to a real chocolate factory. This year they made pizza at Iannuci's?!? When I offered to follow it up with a trip to Kilwin's (so the kids COULD go to a chocolate factory, I was told, "That would just be too much sugar." ??!!?? Still, we're gonna count our blessings and move on. First, the kids are greeted by "Grandpa Joe & Grandma Josephine" from the novel, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. (They are always a set of grandparents.) Then it is on to the factory while parents set up the room.
