The graduation was held in their large basketball arena, with the help of a jumbotron. This was where useful in a couple of ways! You could choose to focus on the actual ceremony or on the close up on the jumbotron. I chose to take photos of the actual ceremony except for the graduates walking in and walking out because they pass by the Jumbotron camera and you could easily see them. We ended up sitting to the left if you were looking at the stage. It was a perfect vantage point because we could actually see Leia sitting in the crowd. I thank God for the guy who is wearing the red stool behind her cuz we were always able to find her during the ceremony. She actually spied us as well. You can see her in the picture trying to find us. She finally did and it was good to be able to see each other during the ceremony! At the bottom of this post you will see a strange card with Leia's name written phonetically. Everyone was a bit confused why this was necessary, and the University was very clear that the card had to be in perfect condition and not folded or crumpled in any way. It turned out that it was AI reading the names! This was the first time any of us had experienced this and it was fairly surreal!
