It was a true Birdie and Bunny birthday for Annie today as she turned 5. Lots of friends and lots of games. Many friends from Mountain Sun, ... and even a few (like Annie's little Logan) who used to go to Mountain Sun, ... some friends of the family, ... a few friends of Leia's, ... and Oma. We played all sorts of games with prizes, like musical chairs, hot birdie (instead of hot potato), a puffball bird craft, a pinata ... as well as lots of cake and present opening! (People who attended, you can see in the picture below going clockwise: Annie, Will, Logan, Marlee, Aurelia, Aubrie, Alexis, Leia, Morgan, Addie Pearl, Annalee, Emma, and Adeline.) One of the most special gifts was a beautiful homemade frame that Logan made for little Annie featuring bunnies, birds, and butterflies! How special! And what a pinata! I made a bat pinata into a Tedd Cockatiel pinata just for my little Annie, ... never mind that the nail didn't hold it up well when the kids pulled the strings at first. (Ha!) I just improvised and held it up for them. : ) And we ended the day with a very tired Annie who requested Outback for dinner, ... so there was a special sundae for dessert! Happy Birthday, Annie! We're glad you're five!
