The local public library held a wonderful contest for the best sea creature this summer, . . . and Annie WON! Her prizes were a cool new memory game and lots of art supplies! Both of the girls had a blast making their sea creatures. Leia Rose made a beautiful "Sprinkle Spine Sea Horse" and Annie made a spectacular "Rainbow Button Fish with Lips, . . . and Smooth Skin." They both got a thrill out of gluing all sorts of
sparkly things on their creations, and Annie especially was definitely
insistent the pearls she glued on were not pearls at all, but fish eggs. Annie's
storytime teacher (Miss Laura) was impressed!
