It was time to fly back to Utah to film season 6 of the chosen. It is the crucifixion season, which is bittersweet. At the airport I am always wearing a teal color chosen shirt and I'm always approached by other fans who are in the show as well, it is a good way to proclaim your devotion to the show.
I made it in time to go to mass at the cathedral of the Madeline in Salt Lake City. I also took the tour again and found out that someone had stolen the lock of hair of saint Mary Magdalen, which was very sad. But I did get to touch my Rose relic to the piece of the true cross they had, because my other relic was given to Jonathan Roumie, the actor who plays Jesus.
Oh how I missed the Utah mountains! There is one point driving away from the airport where you drive over and over pass and can see the beautiful mountains on all sides. The picture doesn't do it Justice.
While I was waiting for my table at my favorite Mexican restaurant, the red iguana, which is featured on diner's drivens and dives, I drove to the main mormon temple. I thought for sure The renovation would be finished as they have been doing it for years. Nope. Will they ever finish that thing?
