It was wonderful to meet the actor who played Gaius! You literally only have a few seconds to speak to the actors, so I made the most of it. I told him that I was Roman Catholic and that before receiving the Eucharist the we always say his line from The Chosen which of course is also from the bible, Lord I am not worthy that you should enter under my roof but only say the word and my soul shall be healed. I told him that I thought of him every time I hear that line at Mass. He looked at me and sincerely said "What an honor!"
And here I am with Raffi and Mary of bethany. Raffi is Sarah's husband, the one whose water was turned to wine at the wedding at cana. Unfortunately, Raffi is one of the characters that turns against jesus. I knew there'd be a minor character or two that would. Mary of Bethany of course is the sister of Martha and the one who runs to Jesus weeping and crying "jesus, if you had been there my brother would never have died." This I repeated in her intonation when I met her. I'm honestly not sure why I did that. But then I told her that her acting was incredible!
Finally I had to include our security guy named Fogerty. He has been on set every single time I have filmed. He is quite imposing, but has a great sense of humor and gets very emotional quickly when speaking of christ. His least favorite job is what he calls «phone duty," and I have seen him catch people with their phone on set.
