Today was a beautiful day to receive the Body and Blood of our Lord Jesus Christ! Our family gathered to witness this blessed day in Leia's life [
Mamma, Daddy, Annie, Grandma, Grandpa,
Oma, Papa, (& Cassie & Zachary at the celebration afterward)]. I will never forget her loud "I do!'s" when she renewed her baptismal vows and her loud "Amen" (meaning, "I do believe!") when she received the Sacred Host! After receiving the Eucharist for the first time and praying a nice prayer to Jesus, Leia Rose leaned over to me and said, "This is truly a happy day!"
