Friend Trip to Edisto 2022 : Charleston

Today we dis activities in Charleston. One of the things we visited was the Angel Oak, 1 of the oldest live oaks ever. Some say it existed before the birth of Christ! That is debatable. However, it is considered to be at least 502000 years old. We also ate at Red Crab Juicy Seafood, the best fish restaurant I have ever eaten at! They bring your food out in a bag! Next we joined the Gullah Geechee tour. It is on this tour that we learned about the language and how it evolved in the Charleston area. We also saw the dead house, the oldest building in Charleston dating from the 1700s and was made by slave children, and you can still see the fingerprints of the children who made the bricks! We were supposed to tour the Hunley today, but the museum was closed, so we had to be add to be okay with a small mock up.
