When it was time to film, they actually had us walk through the working set of the chosen! It is Jesus' and the apostles' camp! The huge group of us walking there really was like a pilgrimage! It was so exciting to be there and take pictures in our 1st century costumes! Everything had to be legitimate first century. Even my piercings were removed and my tattoos covered! Only umbrellas were allowed until filming began, because it was so hot. Luckily not a 107 like the day before, only a 100°. Yikes!
