This was our vantage point in the feeding of the 5000. It was amazing to be part of the show for the entire day. I honestly did not expect the actors to be there! I really thought that it was just going to be taking a few videos of a group of people. Instead we got to be part of a few big scenes. I got Goosebumps when Jesus blessed & broke the bread before distributing it to the people! We were there when the boy gave the loaves and fish to Jesus and Andrew. We were there when the apostles got worried that the people didn't have any food. We were there when Jesus said let's eat at the end! We were right beside Matthew when he was giving out the bread, and we were the next to receive the bread before they yelled cut! We were there when Jesus told the parable of the mustard seed and the parable of the 2 brothers. We even had two lines! When Jesus asked which of the 2 sons did the will of his father we said the 1st! And when Andrew asked if we had any food, we said no. We got very used to hearing the phrases umbrellas up, umbrella's down, camera's up, pictures up. Roll sound. Action! And cut! It was interesting to go from being star struck seeing all the actors at the beginning of the day, to simply realizing, "Meh, we work with these people" at the end of the day. The next post will contain all of the good pictures of the actors! But just so you know, the guy in the blue shirt is always Dallas, the director.
