At the same time the eclipse was going on, Annie as the president of the young scientist club was meeting with the school board to explain the importance of their club to Henderson County public schools. Each member of the club had a 3 minute paragraph. Annie's paragraph is about the service projects they have done with different schools in the area. The head of the school board was so impressed that he asked the group to take a photo something that is almost never done. Further, Annie was so proud of the result that she actually asked me to put this on the blog! That was a first!
