I'm afraid we had a poor showing this year, . . . in that Annie had a fever that morning, so I needed to stay home with her. However, Leia and Daddy braved the elements in the freezing cold! : ) We couldn't even go to the parade in the neighboring, smaller town this year (and her Pisgah Dance Academy class was going to march in it, too), . . . such is the life of a Nutcracker performer. Practice was that afternoon.

The Christmas Parade 2009
I'm afraid we had a poor showing this year, . . . in that Annie had a fever that morning, so I needed to stay home with her. However, Leia and Daddy braved the elements in the freezing cold! : ) We couldn't even go to the parade in the neighboring, smaller town this year (and her Pisgah Dance Academy class was going to march in it, too), . . . such is the life of a Nutcracker performer.
