Annie Writes Her Name!

For months, we have known that Annie could write the letter "E," and whenever I would try to work with her on others, she would immediately refuse. Not sure why. Afraid of doing it wrong, maybe? Then at Oma's the other day, Annie wrote an "A" on the chalk board. In my mind, I kept repeating, "It is time!!!" So today, I asked if Annie could write an "I," she could, as a lowercase "i," but that's fine. So I told her to draw "two lines and a slide" to make an "N." Then we were ready. Here is Annie writing her name in the back of her Learning-Is-Fun book, . . . for the very first time. Somebody was VERY proud! : )
