This particular image of Mary is a Pope Francis favorite!
So, HERE is the most memorable image of the trip: Mary, the Undoer of Knots. this image has been especially important to Shana who always feels she has many "knots" in her life that Mary needs to untie. Shana was THRILLED to find that it is also the favorite of Pope Francis! Shana and I received strips of waterproof velum and wrote our intentions. My ultimate intention is always the same: that our children will be happy in this world and, more importantly, in the next. Afterwards, we ate at a little cafe that looked down upon the entire scene. It was my favorite part of the trip, sitting there peacefully with Shana and knowing that Pope Francis would see this same scene in just a day or two and, further, care about it as much as we would. It turned out that Pope Francis made an unscheduled stop there and personally asked for all of these prayers to be answered!
