I assure you that we pet MANY kitties at MANY shelters, But this is just one picture of the process. Because most of our rabbits died from a rare congenital heart defect (Except Mario who is still going strong.), because Annie had the entire upstairs now, and because Annie has been troubled a bit with depression (which would take 3 more years to get the medication right) that she could have a cat. So in preparation we purchased and Annie put together this cat tree herself! We did want an older cat, ... mostly so the end of the kitty's life might correspond with Annie's later College career. It came down to 2: Meadow (an older calico) & Callie Ann (a 9-year-old tabby). .....
