Ah, the further bane of the wishing wands! Ha! The fairy line was definitely one of the longest lines we waited in all week (about 40 minutes), and this was after the park first opened! We were told that was the time we had to get there, or we could expect a multiple hour wait! The girls were really excited because they got to see "Tinker Bell" on the way there (which was probably the very first movie that I didn't watch first). The girls LOVED it!
In the line, Annie found it really fun to stick her wand right in the fold of my neck, wanting me to hold it there! (Again, something that happened multiple times!) But it wasn't long before we found out the reason for the line: they escort only one family in at a time! (This is because you have to be brought down to "fairy size.") ; )
And Leia Rose was THRILLED that her very favorite fairy was the first one to meet. Little aside: Leia Rose called her "Rosetta" the entire time. It wasn't until after the trip that she learned that her real name was "
Iridessa." Ha!
Tinker bell was thrilled to borrow the girls' wands to "
boop" them a bit because "I don't ever get to hold a wand" she said. She was VERY perky, but was a little upset that the girls were dressed as princesses and not as fairies, . . . Leia promised to be Tinker Bell another day. . . .
Tinkerbell said that would be "
flitteriffic!" Ha!
Then it was time to meet the very Southern "Snap Dragon" (I think) and she told the girls that Tinkerbell liked dandelions so much that she kept the puff on her shoes! : )
