The Afternoon Parade

It was HOT this afternoon (and every afternoon at Disney). This little umbrella was a Godsend, really, . . . and so were the popsicles! If we ever return in the summer, I think we'll be leaving in the heat of the day, . . . how these poor people in costumes survive, I'll never know. Just to prove how hot it was, we only saw the parade ONE time, . . . and it wasn't because we didn't like it. ; )

Gosh, I just love this picture. We wondered if the girls would see their favorite characters from Alice in Wonderland and, sure enough, there were Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum in the parade. The girls' favorite part? The "HONK" they make when they bounce off each other in the movie. This is Leia's best impression of that honk. ; ) Another fun thing about the parade was that we saw the same wicked stepsisters as the morning, . . . I don't know why it amazed me that the same characters did everything in the park that day, but it did.

Afterwards it was time for a cool monorail ride through the Contemporary where I would often sigh, "Only for rich people."
And look at the top goats on the right, . . . it's always lucky to find the five-legged one! : )
