Within walking distance of the resort was a plaza that had the most delicious foods! Our favorite snack was definitely the shaved ice above that was distinctly Hawaiian. It is made with few fruit puree that is injected into the ice through these little holes. There is nothing like it that we had ever tasted. We had one almost every day and a line was most certain! OBISIC is an acronym that stands for our big island shaved ice company.
Another favorite food was fried pineapple! And we could eat all of these things while looking out onto the water.
