But the real highlight of the day for the girls was . . . CHESTER!!! Here is how Leia Rose could be found all day, . . . outside in the yard playing with Chester. (I think by the end BOTH of their tongues were hanging out!) : )
And Annie was an absolute RIOT around Chester (who is almost a full-grown dog now), she would call him to her, but when he would come she would immediately tense up and smile, turning toward her Daddy, . . . but secretly longing for Chester to lick her face, . . . which he did, . . . many times. And there's something about Annie's face every single time this happened that was SO picture worthy! : )
But the sweetest moment of all was, in between Chester licks, Annie waited for a quiet moment and said, "Mamma, Happy Murfs Day!" What a sweetie pie, . . . Annie knew there was something very important about this day, but we didn't really explain it to her, . . . so she listened all day, trying to master at least the name of the holiday, . . . she gave me the best gift of all: her love. : )

Awesome! Does Chester belong to Grandma and Grandpa or to aunt and uncle?
