Here we are in front of Sleeping Beauty castle at disneyland! Right above the archway is Disney's coat of arms for his family. The castle is definitely smaller than Cinderella's castle. The reason for this is Disney didn't want an imposing Castle because in the Middle Ages castles Were Meant to intimidate. The irony is, no one is intimidated by Cinderella's castle in Disney world. It is just better to have the Hub of the Disney park be visible from anywhere as a central landmark. Here you can also see all of our first visit pins displayed prominently. We were sure to ask for these at the hotel in that they often can provide some extra magic in the parks.
