Disneyland with April & Emily 2025: Fantasyland

One of the neatest things about Fantasyland in Disneyland was being able to ride Mr Toad's Wild Ride again. The original one had closed and Walt Disney world, so this is the first time April and I were able to ride it for years! Of course we rode the original Dumbo the flying elephant where I actually was able to get a picture of the Matterhorn in the background. Yet another original Disneyland ride was called The Storybook canal boats. The signature thing about that ride was riding into the mouth of monstro the whale from pinocchio. Then it is just a calm boat ride that travels next to all of the kingdoms of the Disney movies in miniature. I made sure to get a picture of myself next to the newest kingdom, Arendelle from frozen. I was really hoping that Emily would be able to lift the sword from the stone, as I read about it really had to do with speaking to a cast member. But no one seemed to know about it and most thought they didn't do that anymore. Our first visit pin did give us a little bit of special magic in the line for Peter Pan's flight where a lantern filled with fog could be found. With the help of a cast member, Emily touched her magic band to the Lantern and Tinkerbell appeared and said hello! Finally, in addition to the carousel, an original ride from Disneyland was Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. That one can't be found in Walt Disney World either. So it was the first time that any of us went on that ride.
