Disneyland with April & Emily 2025: Exploring Main Street After Hours

Finally I was on a mission to find something I remembered from my childhood, the original Penny Arcade flipbooks that I used to see in Disney world. There are only a few left now that work. When I was young there were lines of them in the penny arcade. I brought pennies along for just this reason. Here is me about to put a penny in the Charlie Chaplin penny arcade! But the main street Penny Arcade here had many little interactive games around the different candies that they sold. Next was the true grip challenge where I actually got  "crusher gripper" which was close to the strongest! Next was Esmeralda the fortune teller where we got our fortune... which was to Journey to the edge of the frontier today. There was also the calliope that used to cost $0.10 but now just plays automatically every 15 minutes. I always love calliope's! Then there was a little interactive Pinocchio that you put a penny in and compress the buttons to move his arms and legs, and finally there was the scale that was putting a penny in and seeing what your weight was.
and I couldn't end this set of Disneyland posts without showing one of the many decorations around the parks and hotels, because it is the 70th Anniversary they would have these large stand-up signs each featuring a particular Disney character. I took a picture by the Frozen sisters! Celebrate happy!
