Amazing Evening at Maple View

This is truly one of those times where I wish I had my camera, . . . but on second thought perhaps the beauty of the night is more stunning simply burned on my brain! Tonight we went to Maple View Farm (which is bound to be one of our last times there). The sunset was breathtaking and the hay bale was new!!! : ) Could an evening get any better? First we enjoyed some ice cream on the rocking chairs (with Annie continually asking for "cookie" which is what she calls the ice cream cone part). But then we went over to the hay bail to play and the sun was bright red and setting behind the hills and corn fields. Beautiful! The hay was so fresh that the whole area smelled like a new barn, . . . and Leia Rose and Annie had a BALL throwing hay up in the air, pretending they were scarecrows, and even covering their Mamma! Lots of laughter lots of squeals. It was a total joy! : )
