Turtles & Snakes!

With Leia Rose at Grandma's, it was just Annie and I who got to have an exciting morning at the Etowah Library where Steve O'Neil was exhibiting lots of reptiles!!! Annie got to see box turtles, a king snake, a rainbow boa constrictor, a "chunky" snapping turtle, and (my least favorite), a black emperor scorpion! I was VERY proud of Annie today. She got up close and personal with each animal, but wouldn't dare touch any of them. (I was wondering if she would be afraid, considering how she acted with the worm when we planted our cherry tree.) But Annie DID touch a snakeskin!!! Annie was a real trooper! : )
