Christmas Tree Farm(s) 2008

The first Christmas tree farm we went to today was Zeiglers' Christmas Tree Farm which was WAY out in the middle of the mountians, . . . seven miles off a dirt road! The problem: the trees were really spread out and really small.

So we decided to try another one called the Hi-Low Tree farm which was named such because the fields go STRAIGHT UP. Yikes! But we found one, and it's always a fun fight every year with me trying to get a tree that's a foot too big and Brian trying to get a tree that's a foot too small. : ) Here's Brian giving in. ; ) In my defense, though, we actually have 9 foot ceilings this year, so we needed a bigger one!
And Leia Rose was SO excited to drive our tree behind a tractor (to pull it through the tree-netter). She got her tractor's licence (which was really just a business card), but it was still a cute idea. And then before we left, I saw this sign and just HAD to take a picture. AND the girls saw their very first white squirrel!

That top picture is just the cutest picture of Annie, ever!
